Hello there, little dreamer. Give me a big squeeze and hold me close. I'm Joseph, and I'm so glad I get to be with you today. My father Jacob loved me very much, and he gave me a beautiful coat of many colours. God also gave me special dreams. But my big brothers became jealous of me. One day, my brothers threw me into an empty well. Then they sold me as a slave, and I was taken far away to Egypt. My heart hurt so much. In Egypt, I had many hard times. I was even put in prison for something I never did. But the Lord was with me the whole time. In time, God helped me explain the king's dreams. A famine was coming: seven years with plenty of food, then seven years with very little. So the king made me a leader in Egypt, and we stored up grain to feed many people. God was putting me in a place where I could help others, and even my family. When the hungry years came, my own brothers came to Egypt for food. They bowed down to me, but they didn't know who I was. They needed my help! I cried, and I told them, "I'm Joseph, your brother!" They were shocked. But I said, "Don't be upset. God sent me here ahead of you to save lives." I hugged them and chose to forgive them. Years later, I told them, "Don't be afraid. You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good." Forgiving my brothers set my heart free. If someone hurt your feelings or was a bit mean today, let's let that go together. You can always choose big love and gentle forgiveness, just like I did. God has a wonderful plan for your life, and He IS watching over you right now. Let's pray together. Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You never left me in those hard days. Help my little friend forgive with big love and trust Your good plans, just like You helped me. Amen. Stand strong, little hero. You are SO very loved.
