Hi there, little hero! Hold me tight and listen close. I'm David! Before I was a king, I was a shepherd boy caring for my father's sheep. When a lion or a bear came to steal a lamb from the flock, the Lord helped me rescue it. One day, I visited the army camp. A giant warrior named Goliath stepped forward. For forty days, he shouted challenges, and the soldiers of Israel were terrified! But I knew the living God is greater than any giant. King Saul dressed me in his heavy armour and bronze helmet, but I couldn't walk in them. Instead, I took my shepherd's staff, chose five smooth stones from the brook, and held my sling. When Goliath mocked me, I answered with courage: "You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven's Armies! This is the Lord's battle!" I ran toward the battle line, slung a stone, and God gave the victory! True courage doesn't come from being big or wearing armour. It comes from trusting God. Whenever you face something scary or try something new, in the day, on an adventure, or in a quiet moment, remember that the Lord is your strength and your shield. Let's pray together. Dear God, thank You for being my strength when I faced Goliath. Help my little friend be brave and trust You when something feels scary. Fill our hearts with courage today. Amen. Be strong, little hero. God is always with you!
